James Blunt takes his “Bikini” friends for a cruise around Ibiza

James Blunt has never seemed like the seafaring type.

But he's been spotted more out at sea more than on dry land in the past few days as he enjoys a holiday in Spain with friends.

The You're Beautiful singer was pictured earlier this week at the helm of another vessel accompanied by girlfriend Sofia Wellesley in Ibiza.

While yesterday the former chart-topper was seen manning another boat on the neighbouring island of Formentera as he took friends for a tour of the coastline.

He was seen laughing and joking with both male and female companions who joined him on board for a sun-soaked afternoon.

With his shirt off, the 38-year-old singer worked on his tan and showed off his slightly out of shape torso.

One of the women hanging out with James, a striking brunette in a flattering pink polka-dot bikini, was seen cooling off with a canned drink on board the speed boat.

While another beautiful female was spotted with the group wearing a striking blue floral two-piece as she splashed around in the water.

But James was also joined by three male friends who were seen swimming with the star after jumping off the boat into the inviting Mediterranean waters.

The singer is a regular visitor to the area and fell so in love with the Spanish island of Ibiza that he bought a £1.7m villa there back in 2006.

The 150-year-old hilltop property - surrounded by pine forest - has six bedrooms, a library, sun terrace and an outdoor swimming pool with its own pool house.

It also has stone floors, two antique fireplaces, a two-bedroom guesthouse and staff living quarters.

He has been living the high life for the past few days and dropped into Lineker's bar for a quiet night of drinking.
