AnnaLynne McCord enviable “Colorful Bikini” curves in Los Angeles beach

As the Los Angeles weather heated up, 90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord needed to cool down yesterday.

The 24-year-old star indulged in an ice cold refreshing popsicle as she lazed on a local sandy beach, soaking up the bright California sunshine.

And the actress showed off her enviable bikini body in a stunning patterned purple, green and white two piece as she lay on a towel and listened to music.

The star's dark blonde hair was pulled into a low ponytail and she wore sunglasses and a long beaded necklace to complete her look.

AnnaLynne also wore minimal make-up, in line with her recent Twitter post, in which she tweeted she was 'over Hollywood's perfection requirement.'

Earlier this month, she posted a photograph of herself with no make-up, along with the caption: 'To all my girls(and boys) who have ever been embarrassed by their skin.....I'm not perfect and that's OK with me.'

Taking a break from playing popular alter ego Naomi Clark in teen TV series 90210, AnnaLynne will be back on screen in the autumn for a fifth series of the show.

The role won the curly-haired star earned the Hollywood Life Young Hollywood Superstar of Tomorrow award back in 2009, and the next year she won a Breakthrough of the Year Award.

She is well known for her charitable work, and has been lauded in Hollywood for her humanitarian efforts.

'I’m a strong believer in working with organisations and giving back, and working with particular groups that strongly affect a person,' she once said. 'As long as it strongly affects you, that’s when you will make a difference.

In real life, she has been dating 42-year-old Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell since last July, and the pair are often photographed putting on very public displays of affection.

The Australian actor, who is best known for his work in Prison Break, has four children from a former relationship.
