And before you accuse of hyperbole, take a good look at these pictures of the couple, who are both 39, enjoying their honeymoon on the French Caribbean island of St. Barts.
They both look spectacular in their beachwear.
Burke, who will return to our screens in September when she'll co-anchor the new series of Dancing with the Stars, dazzled in a white two-piece as she took pictures of her family with an expensive camera.
Meanwhile her French husband, who starred in Baywatch for three season, relived his days playing a lifeguard on the show by boogie-boarding with his young son.
The couple married in a 'beautiful' ceremony on the island in front of their children in an 'intimate' setting on Friday night.
The Dancing with the Stars co-host and the Baywatch star, 39, are said to have said 'I do' on a boat as the sun was setting and are 'extremely happy' at now being husband and wife.
An insider told MailOnline that the couple wanted to marry now as an 'expression of their love' but wanted their nuptials to be 'very private'.
'They had a beautiful ceremony in St. Barts on a sail boat in front of their children', the source said.
'It was a spontaneous decision and wanted it to just be them and their children. The family are an incredibly tight unit and they are very much in love.
'Brooke adores David and he loves her and their family and they can't imagine being with anyone else so they thought it was the right time.'
The couple have been together for five years and have two children together, four-year-old daughter Heaven Rain and three-year-old son Shaya Braven. They became engaged in August 2006.
Brooke, 39, has two other children from her first marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, daughters Sierra Sky, nine, and Neriah, 11.
She celebrates her 40th birthday on September 8 but looks like a woman 10 years younger.
The mother-of-four looked delectable in an emerald green two piece yesterday as she paraded around the French West Indian island, which would have been just hours before she said 'I do'.
Brooke looked lean yet curvy as she enjoyed the summer sunshine and took dips in the warm aqua waters.
'We're just at that place, where love is deep and meaningful, and we're feeling very settled,' Brooke said about her relationship last year.
On Thursday Brooke donned yet another flattering two-piece and frolicked on the beach with her children in a yellow bikini.
The television host lay down on the white sand and kept an eye on her children as she topped up her tan before joining them while they had some fun at the beach.
She was later joined by Charvet and her other children and lazed around while they covered her with sand.
Brooke had changed into yet another bikini, this time one with brown bottoms and a patterned top.
Say cheese!! Brooke clicks away, she'll be back on our screens in September
Look of love! The newlyweds share an intimate glance during all the family fun
She covered her head with a wide-brimmed white hat to protect her from the glaring rays.
Not to be outdone, Charvet showed off his equally impressive physique and played beach tennis with a friend and then jumped into the ocean with his little ones.
Although she has a busy lifestyle with her television show and raising four children, Brooke says she always makes sure to have alone time with Charvet.
'David and I make sure to escape once a week. So maybe on a Sunday night, we'll go out to dinner at a favorite Malibu restaurant,' she shared.
'Or at home we get the candles, the music — the whole deal — and we close the bedroom door. We have a rule in our house that you have to knock on closed doors. Someday the kids might be like, "I smell the candles, I hear Maxwell playing...' but thank God they're not old enough to figure that out yet.'
