If the Miami Dolphins are trying convince fans to start rooting for them despite their lackluster 6-for-10 record last year, they might be succeeding.
First it was the gritty HBO reality show about training camp, 'Hard Knocks.'
Then, the Dolphins introduced the world to their new quarterback Ryan Tannehill -- and his gorgeous model wife Lauren.

Now, the cheerleaders are pitching in with a sexy new video of the squad lip-syncing this summer's hottest pop song, 'Call Me Maybe.'
The choreographed clip has racked up more than 1.3 million views since it was uploaded on Tuesday.
The cheerleaders' take on Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit is only the latest lip-sync parody of the song.
The Harvard University baseball team racked up more than 11 million views after they uploaded their own take on the 'Call Me Maybe' while riding back from a game in the team's van.
Donald Trump's Miss USA contestants also did a version.
According to the Dolphins cheerleaders' post on YouTube, the squad was in the Dominican Republic shooting the 2013 swimsuit calendar when 'we decided to have a little fun and make our own cover of Carly Rae's "Call Me Maybe." We hope you enjoy!'
The video, along with the football team's reality show and the national spotlight on Tannehills, have generated enormous off-field attention for the Dolphins.
It remains to be seen whether they can translate that energy to on-field football success.
The team hasn't had a winning season since 2008. In 2007, the Dolphins won just one game.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the miserable record has led to Dolphins tickets being the cheapest in the NFL on the second-hand market.
Season ticket sales reached just 30,000 for this season -- just half as many as the team sold in 2005.
