The sunny Spanish location is usually overrun with cast members from The Only Way Is Essex.
But Marbella was host to a rather quieter, more romantic scene this morning.
Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe and her French dancer boyfriend, Sylvain Longchambon were spotted soaking up some rays together on the beach this morning.
The enamoured pair, who have been together for two years, appeared as affectionate as ever.
Lying top 'n tail on a sun lounger, the couple gazed into each others' eyes, appearing oblivious to their surroundings.
Jennifer, 28, showed off her stunning figure in a strapless black sequined bikini, and wore her hair scraped off her face in a messy bun.
She didn't bother with make-up, preferring a natural look for the beach.
The couple were clearly relishing their extended bank holiday weekend, taking advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a break from work.
Meanwhile Jennifer has revealed she doesn't want her Hollyoaks character Mercedes Fisher to end up happy, because that would be boring.
Sultry Mercedes has some roller coaster storylines coming up as sit is revealed that killer Silas Blissett won't stand trial, that Riley Costello and Lynsey Nolan are in a relationship.
'Happiness can get boring to play. It's nice when Mercedes is in a couple and settled down, but it's quite nice to spice things up for her again,' Jennifer confessed.
'And there's loads of that coming up so I'm just really excited. I hope the audience will enjoy it as well.'
The former Dancing On Ice contestant admitted that a combination of highs and lows is what she prefers when it came to her feisty character.
'When you're doing the comedy it's brilliant, but then you feel like you want a challenge, and then you get heavy stuff and you think, 'Oh I just want to come into work and be light-hearted'.
'It's all in moderation. I'm very lucky that the writers do find a good moderation for me.'
'At the minute what you're seeing on screen is quite depressing and downplayed, but that soon gets turned around and you get to see Mercedes' fun side as well.'
Jennifer said her last six years on the Channel 4 soap have 'flown'.
'It feels about two-and-a-half, three years. But it's a great cast and crew there so you get settled very quickly,' she explained.
'As long as they keep on writing and producing the scripts that challenge me, then I'm happy and I'm happy for the foreseeable future.'
