Taylor Armstrong & Kyle Richards “Bikini body” on LA

It's the calm amidst the storm.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Taylor Armstrong, 38, looked relaxed as she enjoyed a day of peace and sunshine at the home of new best friend Kyle Richards‘, 43, this weekend.

Squeezed into barely there bikinis, the reality show protagonists were spotted strolling at the front of the property before heading to Richards' pool.

The pair have become even closer ever since Richards' defended Armstrong against fellow housewife Brandi Glanville,38.

Sisters Kim and Kyle Richards joined Armstrong, 41, for dinner earlier this month in a public show of solidarity after news of the row leaked. 

According to US Weekly, Glanville and Armstrong engaged in a heated war of words while filming season 3 of the hit Bravo show in Ojai, California.

The women had earlier attacked each other in the media after Glanville accused Armstrong of exploiting her husband's suicide with the release of her tell-all book, Hiding From Reality, in which she opens up about the abuse she suffered in the relationship.

Businessman Russell Armstrong committed suicide last August amid his marriage breakdown from Taylor and spiralling financial problems.

Tempers flared after Armstrong had earlier made comments about Glanville's ex-husband Cibrian, who left her for country singer LeAnn Rimes.

In a reunion episode that aired earlier this year, Armstrong asked the newest member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast: 'Eddie Cibrian said you slit his tyres. Is that true?'

Tensions reportedly escalated between the pair, however, when on a recent trip to Ojai Glanville revealed she had too signed a book deal to tell all about her split from Cibrian.

A source told US Weekly: 'Taylor screamed that Brandi was a hypocrite.'

Now, as the women cool down, Kim and Kyle appear to be comforting their newly-widowed co-star.

Kyle Richards was joined by husband Mauricio Umansky for dinner at Hollywood Moroccan restaurant Dar Maghreb, with her sister Kim and friend Taylor on Wednesday night.

The blonde earlier this year shared painful memories of her marriage during an interview on the Today show.

She has denied writing a book about her relationship with Russell for financial gain, insisting it was partly penned to help victims of domestic abuse.
