Sacha Parkinson showcased her “Animal Bikini” body in Cyprus

It's understandable Sacha Parkinson would be keen to let her hair down during a sun-soaked holiday with a group of female pals.

But it would seem the former Coronation Street star was nursing a hangover of epic proportions as she relaxed poolside yesterday afternoon in Cyprus.

The 20-year-old actress looked like she'd enjoyed a particularly heavy night the previous evening, as she nursed her head in her hands on a sun lounger.

Perhaps adhering to the 'hair of the dog' method of ridding her hangover, the blonde beauty decided to get back on the booze as she sat around the pool with her chums.

Despite looking a little worse for wear, Sacha got stuck in to a pint of beer and munched on crisps as she chatted and joked with her friends.

But her unhealthy choice of poolside snack didn't appear to be taking its toll on her body.

The star showcased her hourglass curves and flat stomach in a mismatched strapless animal print bikini top and skimpy floral bottoms, which she covered with a long black vest as she relaxed on a lounger.

Later in the afternoon, Sacha decided to take a dip in the pool - but it would seem the water didn't have the desired effect, and she seemed to be struggling with the aftermath of her boozy night out even more.

Sacha bowed out of her role as teen lesbian Sian Powers in Coronation Street at the end of last year, and explained she was looking forward to be going back to auditioning.

She said: 'It's really exciting just going back to auditioning. It's just something I have to do.

'I was so comfortable there that I could have stayed there for the next 50 years but I just want to do something interesting, something to get my teeth into.'
